Kaanapali, Maui, Hawaii. Amazing colors after sunset and a bright new moon. Add a couple of yachts and coconut trees and it symbolizes the Hawaiian island of Maui. http://500px.com/photo/81446359/new-moon-kaanapali-by-matt-hardie

White Beach, Boracay, Philippines. Amazing sunsets, warm colours, white sand beaches, and water sports best sums up the Philippine island of Boracay. Prevailing south westerly winds during August make sailing hugely popular, especially at sunset when the colours of the sky are at their breathtaking best.

Bulabog Beach, Boracay, Philippines. The east facing Bulabog Beach is on the quieter side of the island. Although the beach is not as magnificent as White Beach (on the island's opposite side), it is in it's own way just as amazing. Inside the reef allows a safe mooring spot for the locals to park up their boats for the night. This side is also home to the island's world re-known kite boarding and wind surfing.

Kuang Si Waterfalls, Luang Prabang, Laos. I traveled around Laos with a small backpack, so left the tripod behind. I used my surroundings instead, in this case I used a rock to reduce camera shake to achieve a longer exposure. Shutter speed 1/3 sec.

Wat Phu (Vat Phou) Ruins, Campasak, Laos. A rainy, overcast made for difficult photography conditions, but added to the amazing atmosphere of this ancient Khmer temple complex which was constructed between 1100 - 1300AD.
