Walnut veener chest on stand, with seven drawers, made in England about 1700. The chest has three long drawers and three small drawers each with original brass keyhole escutcheons and drop handles. The top and drawers are decorated with herringbone or feather edging outlined with double cock beading. The stand has one deep drawer with matching keyhole escutcheons and handles with inverted dome decoration on apron. The massive plain cabriole legs have pointed club feet.
