I really like the colours used in this example. The grey, whites and blacks all come together really nicely. I also really like the layout of the patio and grass patches. I like the idea of including sky lights and I really like the angled roof and materiel used.
Again I like the the "over sized" windows and dark edges to them that make them stand out from the grey building. I like the open living arrangement and easy flow between the interior and exterior. I also like the idea of having an outdoor patio.
I was attracted to the colour palate of this house and the sharp corners and edges that the house is made from. I like the windows and the dark edges around them. -This makes the windows stand out from the rest of the house.
I like this rooftop apartment example because it relates to the project we are doing where a modern apartment is built upon an older styled building.I like the extreme angles of the roof and and windows. I like the (cast iron) material and colour used for the roof.
In this example I love the wood materiel used for the exterior of the apartment. I like the colours of the modern apartment alongside the older building colours and style. The extreme angles of the apartment and really cool and I would love to incorporate this somehow in my design.
Again in this example the modern house on top of the older building relates to the project I am doing. This example helps me to visualize what the final outcome should be like where the modern house and older building have nothing in common. In the rooftop apartment I like the big windows and light colours. I also like the plant that cover most of the bottom of the apartment. I admire the light colours against the old brick looks really effective.
